Hello family and friends, I love you all and miss you all!!! So for my mission, well, it's awesome and beautiful! More beautiful than the Utah mountains!!! My week has been awesome, Saturday we had our baptism that Elder Garver performed. He baptized Sabrina and her son Chase. Elder Garver and I have become like brothers.
It's just awesome to have a great trainer! We have been teaching an investigator that has been reading anti-Mormon things because she wants to understand the "truth". Like C'MON!!!!! How do you read the opposite
to find the truth! On a good note, our neighbor upstairs just asked us yesterday if we could teach him a lesson out of the blue. Like um, YES!! I went on my first exchange with an Elder named Elder Rider, he is really funny and has the best impersonations ever! We really got along. We also met a member named Brother Bing. He is the best guy ever! He is the type you can sit down with for hours and listen to. We are going on exchanges this Wednesday with the zone leaders, I get to be with Elder Webb! I'm really excited. He is the one who used to be able to pull a train. People say we look alike so I say, "Ya, he pulls the train while I push the train!" I got to meet with a member who's son played in the NFL on the Falcons for 3 years. He was cut after starting 2 years. The reason he got cut was because he was told by the quarterback "you are the type of wide receiver that makes quarterbacks look good, but you won't make the team." The wide out replied "what do you mean I won't make the team?" And the quarterback replied, "You are the wrong color." Then after a week he was cut, sad. I really like their family though.
Stevie I love you!!! Thanks for continuing the tradition with the Broncos. I wanna see a double-double every game! You are a leader on the team. You were last year and you are this year, so lead your team, take charge with the ball and win states for me please!!! BE AGGRESSIVE!!!!
Kayla I love you! I pray for you! Stay beautiful and strong.
Dad I love you more than ever. Mom I won't ever not write you. If you don't hear from me, it's because there is technical difficulties with the emails.
Well, the work here is also going better than ever. For example we went tracting Saturday to an apartment complex and out of 10 doors, 6 let us in to share a message and said we could return!!
My basketball skills have improved. I've been testing my shot and I went 4 for 5 from 3 and 6 for 10 from 3 consistently and my dribbling is really better than ever, the Lord has blessed me with these skills. I also met an English and French bulldog. They are huge and really cute and they make me smile. I have some pictures and
videos I will send in another email, but this is my week. I love you all.
