Recently we just had a YSA food drive to give to the local pantry. As missionary's we got stuck with the food. During an hour of tracting we had forgotten all about the truck full of food and we had a feeling to tract near some stores. We saw a homeless guy, and yes you can guess what happened next...we stopped and talked to him for a
bit when he asked "can I have some food?" We had forgotten about the food and said "sorry we are at the end of the month, we have no money and food." He walked away and about 5 minutes later I looked into the back and started to laugh. We laughed while trying to find him, but he was gone. We can't even literally feed the Lord's sheep!! On a good note we have a baptism this Saturday and my companion is baptizing our investigator and her son.
My district is awesome!!! We have a lot of fun with each other, we play a lot of fun pranks on each other. When we are in the car we sing loud and some times people look at us weird. We also have some naughty neighbors. They like to break the 7th commandment every other day and they are so loud about it you can't sleep so we hit the ceiling with a broomstick and say "quit playing twister!" Good times! I love
being an elder. Not much to write about but I love you all and miss you all.
Love, Elder Orton
